Thanks to the Swindlers, anything you donate up to $130,000 will be matched. The funds will be used to sustain the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program, which provides forensic examinations for victims of sexual assault.
The current Tides of Change SANE program is grant funded, and the funding has run out. Without SANE services in our community victims will be required to go out of town for a forensic exam necessary to collect evidence that can be used to prosecute the crimes.
This burden poses a significant barrier to victims seeking help and justice and adds additional layers of stress and trauma on what is probably the worst day of a victim's life.
Providing professional, compassionate, local SANE services for victims is the right thing to do. We need your help to do it. We welcome your donations, large and small.
As a community let's come together and turn $130,000 into $260,000! This will provide bridge funding for the SANE program while we seek sustainable, new revenue streams. Thank you for your generosity!

The Swindler's story behind their donation:
Melody's Story eloquently captures why Lee and Sheri Swindler care deeply and give generously to support domestic violence and sexual assault services. The Swindlers lost their beloved friend Melody to domestic violence and that heartbreaking experience has inspired them to invest in services that will save the lives of others. Please dig deep and give generously and join the Swindlers in making a lasting difference.
