Front Desk Volunteers provide receptionist duties at the front desk during operating hours M-F 9am-3:30pm. This position is responsible for greeting survivors and vendors, answering phones, and completing basic office duties. To see the volunteer description click here.
Helpline Volunteers provide crisis response services after hours on our 24/7 helpline. Volunteers will provide crisis intervention and support services. Must be able to respond to the hospital for in-person response. To see the volunteer description click here.
Kids Club Volunteers provide supervision, support and positive interaction with children birth-12 while their parent is participating in counseling and group services. The goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children of all ages can have fun and enriching experiences while their parent is participating in services. Facility Assistance Volunteers provide help with general organizing and cleaning of our advocacy office and shelter. Special projects and repairs would be based on skill set of each volunteer. To see the job description click here.
All direct service volunteers are required to complete 40 hours of DV/SA Advocate Training. Volunteers are now able to complete 30 hours online at their own pace. The remaining 10 hours will consist of in-person training and shadowing.
