Volunteer Opportunites
There are many ways to be involved with Tides of Change. Our volunteers are vital in the work of supporting survivors. We want to help you find the best volunteer opportunity that will be meaningful and utilize your skills. Smiling Volunteers
Helpline Volunteers provide crisis response services after hours on our 24/7 helpline. Volunteers will provide crisis intervention and support services. Must be able to respond to the hospital for in-person response. To see the volunteer description click here. 
Kids Club Volunteers provide supervision, support and positive interaction with children birth-12 while their parent is participating in counseling and group services. The goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children of all ages can have fun and enriching experiences while their parent is participating in services. Donation Organizer Volunteers would help with sorting and organizing donations. This would include organizing by categories and sizes in addition to labeling items. This position can be weekly or 1-2x a month. The amount of donations will vary throughout the year. To see the job description click here. 
Training Requirements

All direct service volunteers (Helpline and Kids Club) are required to complete 40 hours of DV/SA Advocate Training. Volunteers are now able to complete 30 hours online at their own pace. The remaining 10 hours will consist of in-person training and shadowing.
